With these words begins the short text Anduela wrote after attending a meeting with Father Gianfranco Testa at the Catholic Community of Bardhaj. Thank you for the brave and deep words that have a particular weight in a context where conflicts still affect the lives of some families. <Forgiveness is good for me>, this is the theme of the meeting with Father Gianfranco Testa. […] Once again, Father Gianfranco stressed the importance of forgiveness. When I forgive the others with my heart, I make a gift of peace, of tranquility to myself. By forgiving, I make a different step from those who do not forgive, those who cause suffering, those who kill. As Christians, we can not forget the example of Jesus who forgave everyone, despite the suffering they caused to him. For this we are called in the jubilee year of mercy, to be like Him, in contrast to those who hurt us. Being an example to him and to the others, we should not quit forgiving.
