Following A Crowd against Blood Feuds Campaign closure, Operazione Colomba presents the Final Report drafted thanks to the data resulted by the Mayoral candidates and the new-elected Mayors’ answers to the questionnaire about the “Blood Feuds Phenomenon”.

A Crowd against Blood Feuds 2015 campaign has aimed to keep on working on the national raising awareness activities carried out during the past years. (more…)

Meeting with the City Councillor for Social Services of Shkoder

On the 2nd of October Operazione Colomba volunteers went to the City Hall of Shkoder for a meeting with the City Councillor for Social Services, Mr. Filip Vida, and his assistant, Mrs. Rudina Kruja. The meeting followed several reminders sent to the newly elected Mayor Voltana Ademi, in order to receive answers to the questionnaire about the blood feuds phenomenon. (more…)

Since the forthcoming publication of the Progress Report, Operazione Colomba volunteers, on the 14th of September, went to the OSCE and EU headquarters in Tirana for the delivery of the partial report on data recorded through the Campaign “A crowd against blood feuds”. Data have been processed thanks to both Albanian mayor’s responses and non-responses to the Operazione Colomba’s questionnaire, related to the blood feuds phenomenon. (more…)

A copy of the survey is on the desk of the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj

On Wednesday 9th of September 2015, Operazione Colomba volunteers have been at the Municipality of Tirana to ask for a response to the questionnaire on the phenomenon of blood feuds, directly to the Mayor Erion Veliaj.

After a first attempt to get a personal meeting with the Mayor, Operazione Colomba volunteers have been directed at the Protocols Office to verify that the two letters sent to the municipality had been recorded. (more…)
