Since the forthcoming publication of the Progress Report, Operazione Colomba volunteers, on the 14th of September, went to the OSCE and EU headquarters in Tirana for the delivery of the partial report on data recorded through the Campaign “A crowd against blood feuds”. Data have been processed thanks to both Albanian mayor’s responses and non-responses to the Operazione Colomba’s questionnaire, related to the blood feuds phenomenon.

The Progress Report is a document published every year on October and June. Its goal is to keep monitored the various reforms and adjustments undertaken by those country that have applied for entering the Union. Accordingly to the EU, indeed, one the main goals that Albania must to reach in order to enter the Union is the eradication of the phenomenon.

When the Campaign will expire, on the 30th of September, Operazione Colomba volunteers will draft the Final Report, adding the new data recorded. It will be delivered to various Albanian organizations and associations, to UNDP, to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, and again to OSCE and EU.
